FedEx Grants $500,000 to TSU’s College of Business to Enhance Student Career Development

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (TSU News Service) – Tennessee State University has received a $500,000 grant from FedEx to support the College of Business over the next four years. This grant exemplifies the ongoing collaboration between FedEx and TSU, focused on preparing students for successful internships, mentoring opportunities, and job placements, while also ensuring a robust talent pipeline through enhanced enrollment and retention initiatives.  Furthermore, the investment will enrich the College of Business’s career services by enhancing interview preparation, training, and certification programs critical for student success.

TSU President Dwayne Tucker reflected on the significance of the partnership: “This renewed investment demonstrates FedEx’s commitment to our students and their professional development. We are excited about the opportunities this grant will create for our students to thrive.”
