The 2014 awards presentation for the best journalism in broadcast and print was held Saturday, March 22, at the Sheraton Nashville Downtown. Dr. Terry Likes, professor and chair of the Department of Communications, captured three first-place awards and one-second place. His reports aired on the Tennessee Radio Network with a variety of topics ranging from the music, news and sports industries.
