The Tennessee FFA Organization recently awarded Honorary State FFA Degrees to TSU’s dean of the School of Agriculture and Consumer Sciences faculty members and a graduate student.
The Tennessee State University School of Agriculture and Consumer Sciences will host a community garden beginning this April for members of the Nashville community.
TSU’s School of Agriculture and Consumer Sciences invites the public to take part in a weekly “green bag” lunch session that will answer participants’ questions about gardening and the science of growing plants.

TSU has partnered with the Peace Corps to offer students the opportunity to earn credits toward a master’s of science degree in agricultural sciences while serving as Peace Corps volunteers.
September 29 through October 1, the 2010 Caring for the Caregiver Conference at TSU will explore issues on providing care for the elderly, dependent children and disabled individuals.
